A dark age remains ahead for all of us...

WJSFirst of all, HAPPY NEW YEARS!!! I hope everyone had a good 2009 and look forward to a marvelous 2010.

For Dynamite Planted! Community, it is natural for an aging gaming community to mature and develop into the way it is now. There are plenty of opportunities to reshape and rejuvenate the community back to its glorious days. It is practically impossible for me as the founder and one of the leaders to push this rejuvenating process into full fruitation WITHOUT any of your help.

On the personal note, I am finally gearing up to be my very LAST semester in college. It is only 4 months away until my graduation. It seems so unreal. It is ironic that there was one person who didn't think I could make to my graduation and keep this gaming community alive. That person has lost his own gaming clan to inactivity. I think most of you know who I am talking about, but if you don't, ask me personally in private message. For all of the good reasons, that person was my inspiration to keep fighting and never give up. I want to extend my thanks to him from the bottom of my heart, even we are enemies now.

In addition, some of you may not know, we are entering into the five-years anniversary of this amazing gaming community starting in early March. This is a breathtaking and incredible feat for any gaming community ever taken on. We should be extremely proud of what we have played, worked, and bonded together like brothers and sisters.

The question still remains, and please ask yourself this, "Why do you want to be part of this community?"

Think about the answers from your heart, then figure out how can you take that reason(s) and put into an action. This is more than enough alone to help keep this community going. That is all I ask for from each of you to do your part.

Again, I want to thank EVERY one of you personally for your contribution of effort and love for this community. It rocks because of YOU.

With best regards,

WJS
Founder /Administrator of Dynamite Planted! Gaming Community

I wonder if you a little too optimistic about having more free time after you graduate. For most, college is easy compared to real world life.

Regardless, Happy New Years!!!

Michael,

I am in a graphic design major and there is no room for error. I don't want to wait for an entire year to take the same class again to try to pass it if I fail. Yes college is easy compared to real world life, but I am already living in both. I am working part time at my dream job that will become my full time when I graduate.

Rest assured that I will have a shitload of free time to look after the game community. I will even have more time to play and have fun! Grin

LOL. I hope you're right. Let me put it this way, I had more free time to go golfing when I was in graduate school (MBA) and worked 40 hours a week than I do now.

Think about that! Grin

Maybe you are the Baby Boomer Generation and I am the Generation X. Both generations has very different work styles. In addition to that, I have lot of free time beside that, because I am currently teaching 6 high school kids in web design for the robotic team.

I love this place, and I love the friendships I've gained here. For the new year I'm planning on continuing to log onto the website and being here as best I can. I'm still up for a meeting in March if we are able to coordinate.
